Things I know to be true
I spent last night with Frantic Assembly and their production 'Things I Know To Be True'. This is my first experience of this company's work having heard so much about them. The production really got the audience thinking and questioning themselves. The main story begins with Rosie and her travels in Europe, but when things don't go according to plan she makes a list of things she knows to be true and decides to cut her travels short to return to her family and home town. However when she gets home the one thing she thought she knew, seems to be more transient than she thought. This story is about what we all perceive to be true, a right of passage story and family relationships. It was emotional and beautifully delivered. The set was simple yet affective and part of the fascination was the combination of the realistic story telling together with the physical storytelling, Frantic Assembly are famous for. http://www.broadwayworld.com/westend/article/BWW-Interview-Scott-Graham-and-Geordie-Brookman-on-THINGS-I-KNOW-TO-BE-TRUE-20160912
